East Side Tattoo is one of Shoreditch's longest standing studios, offering custom tattoos and the highest quality piercing in the area since 2010.

Whether you’ve dropped by for a spontaneous ‘walk-in’ or just booked your 100th appointment, we want every customer to feel valued, confident and right at home.

*okay, some ideas ARE way too ambitious!! But we’ll always take the time to discuss your ideas in depth, explain what will and won’t work, why, and then work with you to come up with something that both ticks all your boxes, but is a realistic piece of work that will age as beautifully as you do!

We have 4 incredibly talented resident tattooists, all boasting over a decade's worth of experience. Whether you’re coming in with a strong idea of your own or looking to find inspiration amongst their available designs, our artists always take the time to work with you to ensure you have a beautiful and unique piece of artwork to cherish forever. Having been around for as long as we have, there isn’t much we haven’t done, and there aren’t many styles we can’t cover (yes, including fineline!) be sure to also check out our regular guest artists!

It's not just amazing tattoos we offer, East Side is well established as Shoreditch's go to for the best piercing experience around, 7 days a week. We only use the highest quality implant grade titanium jewellery for our fresh piercings (which is included in the price!) and take great care in assessing appropriate anatomy. Our piercers take great care in explaining the process, educating you on the aftercare and always want to see you again for a jewellery upgrade once your piercing is healed!

We're also the first studio in the Shoreditch/Bethnal Green area to have an in-house tooth gem technician, or as we like to call her, our resident Tooth VVitch. From simple crystal tooth gems, to elaborate multi tooth designs Cheyenne works magic making smiles shine 5 days a week.
